Met zout tekende ik op glas vier kwetsbare landschappen die zich bewegen tussen micro- en macroniveau: van verbrand hout en een afbrokkelende ijsberg tot aangetast longweefsel en verharde steden. De zouttekeningen zijn, net als de landschappen die ze verbeelden, gevoelig voor het klimaat in de ruimte en daardoor op meerdere niveaus fragiel. Zout fungeert hierbij niet alleen als materiaal, maar ook als drager van betekenis.

With salt, I drew four fragile landscapes on glass that alternate between the micro and macro level: from burnt wood and a crumbling iceberg to damaged lung tissue and concreted cities. Like the landscapes they represent, the salt drawings are sensitive to the climate in their environment and are therefore fragile on various levels. The role of salt is not only as a material, but also as a carrier of meaning
